Terms of Service

These terms apply to website design, hosting, maintenance, preview, and related support services from 99 Dollar Websites.

Service

99 Dollar Websites provides simple website design, hosting, basic edits, and maintenance services for local small businesses for a recurring monthly fee unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customer responsibilities

• Provide accurate business information, contact details, and approval for content used on the website.
• Confirm that any logos, photos, text, or other materials provided may be used on the website.
• Review website content for accuracy before public launch.
• Maintain timely payment for active service.

Preview pages

Preview pages are mockups created to show what a business website could look like. A preview is not an official website for the business unless the owner or authorized manager approves/claims it.

Service agreement

Customers who claim or pay for a website agree to the Website Service Agreement, including payment, non-payment, content approval, limitation of liability, and cancellation terms.

Subscription and payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. The standard service is $99/month plus applicable tax unless a different written agreement applies. Service may be paused or cancelled for failed or overdue payments.

Hosted license and optional buyout

The standard plan is a hosted license. After six consecutive paid months—defined as six consecutive full-price qualifying $99 monthly payments that have been collected—an account in good standing may request the optional buyout for a one-time $499 fee under the Website Service Agreement. Failed, refunded, disputed, reversed, credited, discounted, or paused months do not qualify unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Ownership transfers only after the qualifying payments, the $499 buyout payment, and a separate signed assignment. The buyout excludes managed hosting and other ongoing or third-party services.

Edits, revisions, and support

The pre-launch process includes one initial website direction and up to two revision rounds. The active monthly plan includes one basic content-update request per month, generally up to 30 minutes of work. Examples include text replacements, hours, contact details, or service-list changes. Unused allowance does not roll over.

Support replies are normally sent within two business days, and clarified included updates are normally completed within three business days. Larger redesigns, custom functionality, e-commerce, booking systems, substantial new pages, or advanced integrations require separate pricing.

Analytics and backups

The standard plan includes cookie-free aggregate Cloudflare Web Analytics and daily source backups retained for 30 days. Backups cover Provider-controlled website source and do not replace records held by Stripe, domain registrars, email providers, or other third parties.

No guarantee of results

We aim to provide clean, mobile-friendly websites, but we do not guarantee search rankings, traffic, leads, sales, or revenue.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service during the prior one month.
